Workshop Information

Country
United Kingdom
Here are some relatively old pictures of the workshop which is located at the end of the garden. I will update the pics soon as there has been a rash of expensive machine purchasing going on.

We started out building the shop so we could build a timber frame extension to the house. I will post that somewhere else. The layout has remained pretty much the same but machinery has changed.

Kity was the starting point, but all but the bandsaw has now been replaced with Jet or re branded Jet gear.

I have now moved into more hand tool use and with the new Roubo bench the shop getting great to use.

The wood burner keeps me warm in the winter and there is a centralized extract system supplemented with a couple of shop vacs fitted with clear vu cyclones. All hand power tools have now changed to Festool and with my 50th a couple of months ago I got a fantastic set of Japanese chisels.

Anyway I will update with some new photos soon.

Wow, that's some shop! I'd love to see an exterior pic, as it looks like a barn shell. I like that leaning tower of Festool behind you:)
