Project Information

Today i finally got some free time i could spend in my litte workshop. I have got a new set of chisels from LN and decided to make a rack for them since i have wanted that for a long time but was short on time and wood.

I had a little piece of wenge and decided too use it since it was to small to build something bigger of. The dowels have i made of oak. Everybody can make this, and the best part is that i had a wonderfull time in my shop :)

Next time il build one for my japanese chisels :) what a great day :)

Very nice Napoleon. I have a bunch of these planned for my shop tools. Does this one mount in a cabinet?

Nice! Are you happy with the LN's? Don't you find that A2 steel too hard?

Wayne this one is not for mounting but its easy to add a 45 degree list on the back and one in yor cabinet to mount.

Bertha :D

Jamie you are so right with the respect ;)

Div They are made of very hard stell and tough to sharpen, but if they can hold a sharp edge for long time i think its worth it. I havent used them much yet, so time will show. I am very happy with them and i really love their design. Fells so good i my hand.

Thanks for your kind words :)

Napoleon,

Nice, simple design. I like how the width of the blade is easily visible. I need to figure out a way to store my 30+ chisels (carving gouges included).

Div,

Lie-Nielsen also makes their chisels with O1 steel.
