Project Information

My neighbor and really good buddy Mikey or jar head had his first baby named James. Him and his wife Carrie were talking about where to mark James's growth. He was turning one recently and almost walking.

I thought I've always want to try lettering/sign making and thought up this idea with Blondie. We thought it would be a great Birthday gift. More tools to buy is always fun. Got the pro sign kit from MLCS. Sign is made from Oak. I made a simple jig and used double sided tape to move down the board.

This was alot of fun have bunch of orders, should of known. Lol

Ohhhh I'm not over 6 foot tall ruler is made to fo 5 inches from floor to clear base boards. Lol…..

Thx all comments to welcome as always.

Thx everyone for the kind words and support. Enjoy making them, and have fun. One thing I did learn is use some kind of finish on it. I used 5 coats of lacquer. If not the permanent ink from marker will bleed into the grain of the wood.

Cheers y'all
