Project Information

My new granddaughter will need a desk to play and color at in the near future; so, I was "elected" to build the desk. It is a mahogany frame and legs and lyptus plywood top. The holes in the top are for Styrofoam cups to store crayons and other essential kids playtime stuff. The top lid lifts up to store coloring books.

Way too fun. And the desk turned out very nice as well. I am anxiously waiting for grandkids myself, but my sons are not cooperating. The colors here are very nice. Are the uprights screwed to the base with the red wheels covering the screws? Or does it fold down? I can only imagine how fun this must have been knowing that it was for your granddaughter.

What a great and thoughtful design. I especially liked the cup holes idea, but the whole desk looked great and colorful. Perfect for a little one.
