Project Information

I built this child Adirondack chair over the weekend out of pine.

I'm really happy with it, although I thought it would be easier but found it to be just as much work as the full sized one. (just as many parts & screws)

I'm thinking about using a wood supper glue like Mitre Bond on the next one because I saw a video that made it look just as strong as screws. Any thoughts?

Nice looking child's chair,Tite bond III is really the standard for water proof glues or a Polyurethane glue like gorilla glue.
Something else to be concerned about is the type of wood you make out door projects out of. Woods like redwood ceder, cypress hold up much better out doors. Woods like pine and fir usually need some form of protection like paint or spar varnish.
