Project Information

My son asked me to make him a chicken coop. I have access to pallets, so … I took the bottom off and connected them together. I filled in the gaps in the slats with other slats. I put a floor in it and slopped the roof. When it was completed, I loaded it on to a rented trailer and hauled to his farm and off loaded it.

The way I see it is ALL the applause goes to loading and unloading that heavy 'coup'
btw - a heck of a nice build using pallets

My sister has a chicken coop. It looked like a truck hit one corner and it got put back together. I asked what happened? She replied "bears". I hope yours stays out of harms way.

I don't think beauty matters if the Chickens can get in and do their thing, and the Coop owner can get in, and get the eggs out, and clean up as needed, then it's a success.

I do imagine that puppy was heavy to move.

Thanks for your kind comments, I don't know how to respond individually. Yes it was heavy, that's what friends and leverage is for. So far no bears, yikes. The kids are getting more eggs than they can keep up with.
