Project Information

A set of Cherry Tables made over about a 3 year period, all the tops from some flinch sawn high figure Cherry I picked up, saved for years for a project like this. End tables came second and the coffee table was the finish of the job. Luckily I have some more of that Cherry left, it was a really great score. Legs and skirts are Figured Maple all from the same 2 boards with a light Cherry aniline dye. Side board was the first made, that's where the name came from, nothing I did on that table didn't have to be remade or modified. All the tables have a hidden shelves under the tops. Legs are all dovetailed into the skirts.

Great projects. Nice combination of the cherry and maple. Looks like you have a good shop supervisor…my pup monitors me too!

I love working with Cherry. This is exquisite and very well executed. What kind of finish does it have?

Beautiful tables! Nothing is prettier than figured cherry. I would sit in front of that coffee table and just stare at it! Really like the maple legs under the cherry tops. Great job.
