Project Information

To fill empty spaces under two wall benches I made those cheap narrow drawers from scraps. Since I couldn't use any type of slides, I made them out of slippery materials, Melamine and HDF laminated floor boards. I made two boxes to be secured under the benches with screws and then two drawers to fit exactly in those boxes. Finally done!

Thanks for looking. I hope the idea could inspire.

Serge

Thanks, guys,

Hey, @Patron: Sawdust?? There's no sawdust in my shop! (couldn't resist!) Ha! Ha!
And a set on such blocks can be brought out and chances one rolls down on the concrete floor are quite low.

Best,

Serge

Very kool, Serge. I think I woulda added a small dowel in the middle of those nice little mdf blocks to be able to lift out the whole little block to get which one you want without scratchin and/or cuttin any fingers. Definitely a nice storage solution for all those fine router bits and accessories anyway. A gr8 way to recycle those flooring pieces also. A laminated floor piece o wood could make a gr8 sacrificial fence on the ts, bs, router table, etc. Nice n slick for smooth sailin. Thnx for sharin that tip

Thank you, guys. I'm glad some also like it.

@Roger: You're right, Roger, a dowel would be a great improvement.

@NiteWalker: You're a fan? This is great! Thank you for following me.

As they say, you can't never have enough… drawers! LOL

Best,

Serge
