Project Information

I was commisioned about a month ago to build these flower boxes. They are 32" wide, 11-3/4" front to back (not counting the mounting bracket - Pic #6), and 6-1/2" deep. I used Titebond III along with #20 biscuits and pocket hole screws to hold everything together. I did not apply any type of finish, the client will take care of that. This was my first paying woodworking job. I discovered that there is more to pricing out a job than I thought. The good thing is that I now know how to price them more accurately. I've made some dimensioned SketchUp drawings that I would like to post but I need to check with the client to make sure it's okay if I post them.

Here are a couple more pictures;

Anyway, thanks for looking.

Love them, Doug. Just planning my first project of the year and this will really help.

One big question - material?

And any idea what the user is putting inside? That is, do you put a plastic bed/tray in it? Seems the dirt would come out the bottom without it - I understand you might not have this info.

Thanks again
