Project Information
Here is a project that I started a long time ago but it got put on hold for many reasons and excuses.
Anyways each step of the project was a learning experience.
I purchased the precut forms from a canoe builder.
The wood strips used were cut from 18' near clear cedar 2×4s. I cut them down to ¾"x1/4" strips then took
bead and cove router bits to the edges.
Fiberglassed using System 3 epoxies.
Other wood used: oak for the seats, white ash for the thwarts and walnut for the breast hooks and gunwales.
Thanks for look'n.
