Project Information

-i was a bit depressed when it came down to time to eat before midnight before surgery & i still had not attached or sanded the seat slats…but, apparently, that can be done (albeit slowly) with one hand.
I know this is no different than the other benches; it just felt like more of an accomplishment. I know that many others on this site have to face more hindering obstacles on daily and permanent basis'; it is awesome that we are all driven by the motivation to play with wood!

-p.s. The Doc found the sawdust traces in my brace! I heard him record comments that i had been woodworking after the surgery! - told him that i only needed one hand & a foot! -BUSTED…dang that tell-tale cedar dust!

That is a very unusual bench and perfect for the cabin or a rustic setting. good use of natural resources.

Good work, one handed or otherwise. Good to see you have a dog that inspects your work. Mine is always checking things out and playing the role of inspector … he also has been known to steal small cut-offs.

That's a very nice bench and I'm sorry about your hand. I see that you got a very good helper. Our dogs will always give us love and encouragement no matter what.

My God, that animal is about to eat your face! Very neat bench, it reminds me of the chairs Kyra Sedgewick made in the movie Phenomonon.

You do better work with one hand than I can do with two. Lol. Nice bench.
