Candler holder wall sconce from reclaimed pallet wood!

I like to keep the wood a little rough on some projects to help with the rustic antique feel.

That's cool. Hard to see the details of the holder with candle burning but i got a pretty good idea of how its built. On the bottom have you drilled a hole for the candle to sit in or it just sitting on its own?

It's just sitting on it's own. You can glue a small piece of wood across the front if you are worried the candle may slide or get bumped off.

I like it ,too ! Sconces are wonderful uses of space. I wonder how it would look with a small mirror behind the candle?

The mirror would reflect the light better but I think it would take away from the primitive feel. I love these! When the lights go out, you always know where the candles are, and they are already in a good lighting spot!
