Welcome to the forum. It is a real nice looking table. I really like the design of the butcher block it really stands out.

That is a serious top for a coffee table… you can prepare dinner in the lounge…..

i turned dowels on the tops of all four legs then drilled corresponding holes or mortises and dropped the leg assembly in. i wanted to stay away from using a stretcher so this is what i came up with. thanks for all the comments. jury by peers are always the most helpful.
