Very nice Joe! I like the way the grain shows up lighter and contrasts with the rest. Almost looks like a photo negative of what one expects to see in wood.

Beautiful piece! The shape enhances the grain pattern very well. Your color and finish techniques work well too. This reminds me of an ancient Greek pottery.

Joe, you are really branching out in your turnings. This is nice piece. The finishing routine that you used on this accentuates the grain and gives the vase a wonderful look.
