Project Information

This is my recent most recent project. I made a keepsake box for a retirement gift for a coworker! The box is bubinga with walnut splines and a paduk lid handle all with a 4 coats of spray lacquer finish and our company logo in the top. The liner is deerskin leather over a padded bottom and the hinges are Brusso stop hinges.

Beautiful wood pattern, soft lines and greatly executed joinery. The pictures make me want to touch it, and hold it in my hands. Very nice work.

What a wonderful gift. The curved sides are a nice feature.
