Project Information

heres some brazilian cherry wainscoting i did a while back . the wood looks great but its harder than concrete !
it ruined the drivers in my nailguns. and just a tip for anyone who dosent know if the sawdust gets wet it will permanently stain a lot of surfaces especially concrete. this wood also darkens very quickly so if you stack it you should cover the stack if its gonna sit for very long. i learned this the hard way ! it is also quite unstable it likes to twist and warp . but the end result is worth the aggrevation in my opinion the moulding in the boxes is a rabbeted panel molding

Man, that is some gorgeous wood. Of course I'm sure the way you put it together has a little to do with it.

Beautiful work, MrTrim. That must really be some hard wood.

Are you able to replace the "drivers" in your nail guns?

Does anybody know if "dry firing" a nail gun will damage it?

That is some beautiful craftsmanship, & very nice wood.

My son recently helped install about 1800' of flooring in a home.
