I have seen a number of jocks post their box in a box creations so I finally thought I should try to make one of my own.
It worked for the most part. I used a piece of scrap maple, a bad idea as it burned alot, no matter how slow I went into it. Funny thing though, it was only on three of the sides it did this, the other three were fine. I am not sure what the difference would be. I am thinking grain direction but one was on the end grain and the other two were on the side grain. Go figure. It was a brand new bit that had never been used.
My daughter loves it and keeps trying to take the block out of the centre.
