Brandon, that is indeed clever to have adjustable page holders like that. Would be great on a music stand too! The cutouts in the braces…do they have a use other than just decoration? And how do you plan to use it? It's a pretty combination of woods.

Well, I am going to use it to hold a book while I type. I may make another if/when I become the librarian at the college where I work.

The pegs & holes are not an original idea. I found them through a Google search.

The mortise and tenon & cutouts in the braces are my design and just for decoration.

Thanks guys. I was happy this one.

Well done Brandon, I just saw something similar in cast iron and thought that it would make a great woodworking project. I really like the maple and walnut wood combination.

It's a fine looking book stand. Like the design especially the adjustable pegs and great wood combo. This will be a hit in libraries. Great job!
