i took a spade bit ( or any drill bit) the width of my finger (3/4")....then i take a hole saw 1/2" biggerr (1 1/4") and drill it on the same hole on centre…theres your ring…then sand the hell out of it and finish.

Very nice, I would love to make a ring out of blood wood but the scraps i get are limited. Where do you get your wood from?

theres a store in my area that sells nothing but rare exotic woods and the basics…a woodworkers palace. you name the wood they have it in bulk and different widths…thx for the comment by the way

thx a lot grizz…its a pretty easy project…the only hard part i found was making sure i cut it out dead center of my first hole….its a nice piece of jewellery to wear knowing its craftsmanship, personaly made, and rare. talk to ya later grizz

Great ring. I have done the outside on the jigsaw. That way you can get it centered or flat toped if you want. You are correct in the LOTS OF SANDING. Nice ring and nice finish.

lol…i only wear the ones that have taken a beating already…no need to look facy…but now that i've made a ring i think thats all im going to wear, very personal and full of character. I will be making more. Thx for the comments!

if you guys are lookin for wood, out here i ohio we have a place called keim lumber that sells anything you could possible want. tools, exotic wood and upstairs there is a cafe. its in charm ohio.
