Project Information
I started this as a christmas present for my daughter in Oct 2009. I was able to get the lumber milled and the legs cut before winter kept me out of my shop. I got back in in Spring and worked off and on for a couple of months when I had a ATV accident which kept me out of the shop until the following summer. I finally finished it November last year and it sat in my bedroom until Aug of this year when I could finally deliver it. She was aware of the entire build and the setbacks and bless her heart she was so patient. But she loves it and I am really happy with it.
It is made of cherry lumber that was cut and milled here in Ky about 15 years ago. The panels were some offcuts from my cousins antique wood recycling shop that he donated to me. I milled them and love the dark red color.
The interior is lined with cedar.
