Well, this is my little shop. It's the size of single car garage located down in my basement. I started with a couple of sawhorses that I made which usually is a worktable. I made a workbench and then another table for the miter saw (a used gift). I added peg boards for the tools. I eventually acuired a table saw and a router/ router table. The most recent addition was a drill press, which I made a stand for; also a lathe and bandsaw. The shop also houses a weight bench I made for the boys. Everything in there was made from scrap lumber I acquired from my Dad and other resources.

My dust collection consist of a broom and a shop-vac that i usually use as a blower to clean out the shop occasionally. Once in awhile I put my wife and kids to work sanding or painting, they love it too. My projects have graduated a bit. Last summer I made a cedar chest for my wife and finally made me a great workbench this fall. Lately I have been playing with the web cam in there on ustream. I have been turning bowls for a short time now. My shop is my little get away and I look forward to working, I mean having fun there.

Bill, You don't have a large shop with a lot of expensive tools, but you have the basic tools to do some nice projects. I see you use those black plastic locks for the pegboard hooks. Don't you just hate it when a pegboard hook comes off when you reach for a tool. And a wife that likes to do sanding. You had better hold on to her, a woman like that is hard to come by.

Hi Bill,

You have a nice shop there and some decent tools to work with. It is wonderful that you have trained help with which to work. You have done well.

Thanks for the shop tour. I really appreciated it.
