Project Information

This was the last comission finished before 15 days holiday. The only interest, its simplicity and beautiful texture apart, is the way I built the drawer: the client insisted in a single big one, so I put the wheels under the drawer itself. With this solution, no worry about overturning the case when fully loaded and extracted, nor about stressed guides. The wheels are hidden under the drawer. Pachiloba wood (vitakola). Dimensions: 85 cm wide, 45 cm high and 55 cm deep.

That is a clever solution using the wheels. The grain pattern on the top is gorgeous. Nice design and execution. Thanks for sharing Alejandro.

Thank you much everybody. Yes, the guides are of wood and it work just in two planes, not in the vertical one. Si, las guías son de madera y trabajan solo en dos planos, no en el vertical, para evitar precisamente el deterioro de estas.

No POPSHOP: I use solid soap, a local? traditional solution. Have you hear something similar?

WOW! This looks awesome. I need to build something similar, thanks for the wheels under the drawer trick, I probably would'nt have thought about that until the unit tipped over on me.
