I agree with Bill's comment about any shop being a good shop. But I, too, am glad that you have chosen to become part of this group.

benihun,

I see you are not too far from Brezno, where Martin lives. You are likely to be the first one to visit him, as it appears to be a nice drive from your place in Hungary to Martin's home.

Welcome - I think it will be great to see your shop, and then see it progress with time. ANY shop is GREAT!

True any shop is a good shop. Everyone here started withe a meager tool collection and little room.. so any start is a good start.

I'll dissagree. Any shop is not a good shop if you can't walk into it and work. It becomes a storage unit, or a cluster F if that's how you want to look at it. I sense that a good tall storage cabinet could get a lot of the things behind doors and a small work bench up against the wall will clear the floor for some tools. It's a start, but if you can't work in there what's the point?

Ben, you look like a fairly young man. I saw your chip carving. You can do that anywhere. You've got plenty of time to get you a nice shop. For many years the only shop that I had was an open carport and my tools were kept in an old wardrobe on the carport. I worked in the carport, the driveway, and under an oak tree. You'll get to where you want to be. God Bless.
