Project Information

Here is the tote I made for the swap that went to Gary, doubleG469. I was a little conflicted during this build because I had an idea in my mind that would just not come together for me. But in the 11th hour this design hit me and I think it really came off well. The use of stainless rod gives it a bit of a modern twist and I have been wanting to use metal with the walnut.

I was rushed to get this packed and shipped that I had to steal a picture with beer in it from Gary. I really need to work on the photography side of my woodworking game.

All in all it was a fun quick build that was a nice distraction before fall classes start. Thanks Kenny for organizing it.

Damnit! I hate when Kenny's right.

Excellent tote Pooh. Seriously, my wife loved this one almost as much as the one Bill sent.

Pooh that's an upstanding tote ;) Glad the pics are oriented correctly lol

Seriously, I like the concept and execution. It's reminiscent of an old glass milk bottle tote. The contrast of materials is great. Nice work!

Bill it is always a crap shoot to which way they will go.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
