Project Information
This is the story of the parts and pieces of the Throne Room but not the throne. This old house has a tiny little in-house out-house. It serves all the necessary functions but you can't throw a party in there.
I hate regular medicine cabinets. They are too narrow and everything I own falls out of them. We decided to panel the bath with Red Cedar. Thankfully I found some that is only 7/16" thick or it would have taken too much out of the room. I decided that the little room should be special. I designed the cabinet and decided to use the crowns of deer antlers for pulls . I then used a half deer antler for the latch. I designed the towel rack and the toilet paper holder and then needed a magazine rack because everyone knows that this is my library. That blank front of the magazine rack was begging for something. So out came the pyrograhy outfit. The wood is Alder. The finish is Benwood Cherry and poly. I"ll post the vanity next. I've already posted the door. In the photo of the cabinet the mirror shows the deer horn clothes rack on the back of the door.
