Showcase cover image for Bandsaw box

Project Information

This was one western ceder fence board I hand planed the board and glued it up. This is my second attempt on a band saw box. The first didn't even get finished because some moron, the author, messed up and didn't make a correct cut. I didn't flip the drawer 90 degrees to cut the inside out. Oops , the way I cut it I had a drawer in a drawer.

A very nice little box. Far better than my 1st and 2nd boxes. One day i'll make one of these right.
Just one small thing i noticed. Your entrance cut is across the grain. I think it would have been less noticeable if you had come in from the side with the grain. It would be less noticeable i think.
Just my 2p. I do like the shape of the box

Hi

An original design well done! I agree with the 2p worth from Bunarooba, as well as taking the eye away from that area, gluing is made alot easier!
