Project Information

Is it only me or is it almost more exciting planning a project with scrap wood or building a new project? I had a pile of scrap plywood for over a year that was collecting dust and too small to utilize for furniture. I glued them up and tested my bandsaw skills. No matter how much I use a band-saw or scroll saw I always wish I had more experience. It makes me admire the people who do that type of work all the time. I glued them up and free handed the three projects in the picture. I considered creating a template on the computer and making it perfect. After further consideration I thought it would be more challenging ( and fun ) to completely freehand the project. The finished project is made from birch plywood and cherry stain. The next step is to apply the lacquer to protect. I could not make up my mind so I made all three of my favorite styles that were researched on the web. IF YOU ARE A BANDSAW BOX MAKER PLEASE SHARE YOUR FAVORITES!!! I will respond to everyone!
