Great clock. I like the lines and the brass feet. Nice touch.

Keep it up.

Scrappy

rdray, I have heard the best place to get clocks is at www.Klockit.com Have a catalog and their prices and selection is great.

rdray,

I purchased the clock insert from this site: http://www.nicks.ca but they are no longuer in business. They still sell what is left of their inventory from their house.

The brass feet I purchased from Lee Valley.

Simon,
I have to admit to my ignorance.
I've never heard of "Tender" walnut and after an internet search still don't know what that is.

By the way, the clock is very nice.

Thanks to you all for your positive comments !

Don, I did a fool of myself with my cheezy translation… didn't I ?

After a little research I found that the I should have written "Butternut". The french name for that wood is "Noyer tendre" (this is where my "tender" came from). O well, it is still in the Walnut family … ;-)

John, the clock is aprox. 6 1/2 " high by 4 1/2 " wide and 2" thick.

If you wish, I have the Sketchup drawing of it.
