Project Information

This balance toy is very simple to build and quite fun to play. While having guests over try it at the beginning of the evening and again later. Good for a laugh. It is best played on the floor as the blocks can dent furniture when they come tumbling down. Enjoy. The base is simply a storage area for the pegs.

Wow, a toy that you don't have to plug in or even put in batteries. Now that is a unique concept :). I like it, nice build.

Nice.
BTW, by making that small wooden pin between the string and the disc longer or shorter you will cause the whole thing to be more or less stable respectively (easier or harder to ballance). This way you could customize the toy for the target users (adults or little kids). You could even make the pin adjustable.

Thank you for the advice Viktor. I will keep it in mind should I make another one. Roger the object of the game is simply to see how many pegs you can get on the platform. No rules no instructions, simple fun and also challenging.

Great idea. My family would love having one of these. So into the "Favorites" it goes.

I love it! Thank you for sharing. My son's 5th birhtday is this Sunday…St. Patty's Day :) I am going to try to build one of these with my older son by his birthday. Not much time so I will need to be quick about it. Can you give us more details about size and construction?

Height = ?
Base = ?x?
Disc diameter = ?

I can figure out the rest, I think. Thanks again!

What are dimensions? Are there plans anywhere? Instructions for play? Video?
