Project Information

Here is the first stage of my assembly/outfeed table based on The Wood Whisperer's very same, with the exception of mine being on casters. My project is very similar to Dakotawood's (that is amazing and I highly recommend you checking it out on here). Mine is made out of 3/4" baltic birch. Here is a news flash, baltic birch is heavy. The drawers slide on Accuride's full extension pulls and the doors use the Blumotion hinges. I like how they close softly. Similar to Marc and Dakotawood's tables, I will house my air compressor in one side of base. Now that the base is finished, I will now tackle the torsion box top. More to come…

Nice job, you'll find that heavy is good for outfeed tables.

Nice looking table. Given the weight, what type and how many casters are you using under the table?

JeffSIndy, thanks for the compliment. The casters are from Woodcraft. 3" Caster, Double Locking, Swiveling with 4 Hole Mounting Plate, 4-1/4" Tall. Each caster is rated at 300 lbs. The casters work great, I love the locking mechanism and how well the table rolls.
