Project Information

This spice rack, is again, crafted of Quarter Sawn White Oak with the three part finish on it. It is of 1/2" stock with through keyed tennons. The rack can be taken apart and re-assembled; the keys are not attached permanently. It can be set on the counter or hung on a wall. The pictures are not the greatest, but it was early on with a new camera and experimenting with backgrounds.

This is a very nice piece. I am partial to the Arts & Crafts Mission style. especially the keyed through tenons. This is a very practical project and would make a lovely gift.

Not bad, for a desperado! I like it. Did you build it from plans(internet or book) or was this something that you came up with yourself?

oscorner,
Thank you. I got the plan out of a Woodworker's Journal (Spring 2004). The one pictured is made per plan. I also adapt the plan to fit the customers spice bottles if they would like.

Don,
Thank you for the compliment. I too am partial to the Arts & Crafts Mission style, as you can tell by most all of my projects that I have posted.

I love it, sure would be proud to display that in my kitchen. I love things that fold to store or come apart like this.
