I finished this in December 12'. It's a design of my own made using Birch plywood for the body and basic clear pine for the face frames. The shelves are also birch ply with a pine front stripped attached with glue. The top is a glue up of some 5/4 pine. The case is held together with simple dado/rabbet joinery and the face frames were pocket screwed together and attached with glue and clamps. I made them all a little oversized and trimmed them to fit using a jack plane. Finish is a minwax 225 mahogany with 2 gloss clear coats.
