Project Information

good friend of ours wanted this taboret built. Till 2 months ago I had no idea even what it was. She was excited to say the least as we pulled it out of my trailer and into her studio. She bought the plans for this and it was a good thing, lots of parts. Fun project to build for some good friends from our church LifeGroup. 2nd one would go together much faster and I would use a few shortcuts.

Very nice project, Mr. K., and beautifully executed. Any artist would love to have this!

Hmm, I didn't know what a taboret was either! Now that I see, that looks like a pretty dang nice one! Is there a reason for putting that outboard shelf on a hinge? Looks like when it's folded in, it'll be in the way, so they'll just leave it open all the time anyway. Why not just build it into the design?

And what year is your Wing? I sold my 2001 about a year ago so I could put up a new workshop, and I do miss it.

Not sure I still understand exactly what an artist taboret is, but your project sure is pretty.

JoeinGa I don't know why they wanted the fold out on this thing. I was given plans and asked if I could build one. one thing is when you open it it gives them an area with 90 degree angles to put paints and things in so they don't slide around. Lots of crazy thing with this. But she was happy.

My Wing is a 2003. My tools would go before my wing would go. But I do love making sawdust.
