Does Apricot smell good while you are turning it?

My wife always visits the shop when she knows I am turning Cherry.

I did not notice any fragrance while turning. The bowl is about 8" in diameter. It was turned wet and left to find its own final shape. The photo was taken soon after turning. The bowl now has a slightly warped form.
