How deep does the laser actually burn? Looks like only a few thou?

Well done. I wonder if they will ever develop a color laser? If they do, I would bet that you will be one of the first to have one.

... I think the Original Picture is a farce… it has too much color contrast for the Maple to show… But it turned out OK! :)

Your software is probably very smart making contrast adjustments.

Very good job! ... as usual… LOL

Color can be done with multi layer plastics (not wood as yet) and multiple "lasering" masks for the different colors. Much like how a dye sublimation printer works.

Cool! One question: if you oil or finish it would it be too dark? Or would it enhance the picture? I don't recall you finishing your laser items. ..

nice work larry- the wooden engraving actually looks clearer than than picture!

how do you package to sell these? in a frame? or just plain engravings?
