Project Information

I had trouble taking pictures of the last project, so I knocked together a quick Light Tent…
It's as simple as can be, "Tinker Toy" construction, rolled it onto an old bed sheet, add a couple lights, and I'm good to go!
I will get some matching light bulbs when it gets used for real, some 100 watter's for maximum lighting…
The photos here were snapped with a cell phone and came out fairly well!
Ideally, outdoors is where I prefer to take pix, but this definitely offers another option… on those Rainy Days! :)

I have been trying to figure out a simple spray booth for when I am working in the garage, saw this and the light went on. I see how I can adapt this for rattle can spray-on finish. Thanks for the idea!

This has been a big help. Thank you. Good idea about the simple garage spray booth, too.

Well done Mike, makes the photos look a lot better. I've been thinking about something like this for a long time, but I'm suffering from laziness. Maybe next year!

Mike, you should use the light box outdoors as well. It will diffuse the sunlight and the pics will be great.

This is a great idea for posting projects. I was wondering by the picture, is it collapsible?

Dave, it can easily be broken down with a few taps, I didn't put any glue in the holes for the dowels…
