Project Information

Hey guys,

I have been woodworking for about 3 years, so I figured it was time I hop on the Christmas present bandwagon. I decided to make some cutting boards for my family. All the boards are made out of yard sale hard maple, left over jobsite walnut, and some bartered cherry. I was able to clear up some rack space and come up with some decent cutting boards.

I lost my planer and picked up a replacement during the construction of these guys. I also figured out that I need to reset my jointer beds… ugh. I think they turned out just fine. All are finished with a beeswax/mineral oil cutting board finish I got at the big box store. Thanks to everyone who helped me out with the mold issue.

Would you say I have a plethora of cutting boards?

You know, I always wondered what you'd call a bunch of cutting boards. Somehow gaggle, pride, bunch, flock, and group of cutting boards just didn't sound right. So . . . now I know. Gotta love Lumberjocks. :)

Well done on the boards.
