I love the contrasting materials….. Did you use any stain on the Jatoba?? I've seen brazilian cherry(other name for jatoba i think) before but it wasn't any where near that deep red color….... Again nice work, thanks…..

Tim those are great looking! Very nice indeed.

I'm also curious about the jatoba. It looks really red compared to the wood I've used…but it's a great effect and contrast!

Thanks for posting them.

The jatoba is actuall light brown, like teak. It just looks red in the photos.

Jamie… the tops are 19 1/2" x 19 1/2" and it is 26" tall. Mortise and loose tenon joinery. Dovetail drawers. Jatoba top, figured maple drawer fronts, tiger maple frame and legs.

Nice work, those Jatoba tops are awesome. I can imagine how nice kitchen cabinets would look if they were made out of that

I know this is sort of an old post, but I was curious if you have any plans for these. I am looking to build a set and these really seem to fit nice into what I was looking for. Great job.

Scott… I don't have any plans for these, but they are basic construction. You can find plans for these and videos everywhere. Try searching this site with keywords nightstands or endtables, and also youtube and Google. I also think Kreg Jig did a project like this with plans and video. Of course they used their pocket screws which work well, but you could always use loose tennons, dovetails (aprons) or something else. Good luck.
