Thanks for the mention about different angles on the edges, I never would have thought about that.

Harry, I don't have a Lathe so I use a Bandsaw and Drawknife, they don't come out as neat and clean as yours though.

Hi Paul,as you can tell, Neither did I know about the angles, but having been using it for some time now, I do understand that is how it should be.

As they say Bob, "necessity is the mother of invention" In my experience, woodworkers tend to be inventive when it comes to solving problems.

I must have led a sheltered life, never having heard of THOR mallets, so I did a google search and am flattered that you liken my effort to a THOR product, thank you kind sir.
