Looks good Phil, I like the way you did the top and front for easy cleaning, and the cleat is a great idea. Not sure if I would have used treated wood, don't think the birds like that stuff.

Phil, well done. I like the design. Starlings will say thank you ...... My friend, but the birdhouse is very deep. There is a standard. Good luck...

Didn't think of that with the treated wood. I was going for durability. We'll have to see if they mind.

Thanks Ganchik! I looked up birds in our area and this size seems to fit quite a few common to here. First birdhouse so we'll see if they like it!

Very nice, Phill. I like that design. I have to build a couple before winter and I want them to be able to be opened. This is a good way to do it!!
