Project Information

Saws USED to just hang from nails in the ceiling joists. Had some scraps leftover from a table build. Sides were a glue up, then cut at a diagonal. Corner joints are handcut dovetails. Used a cleaned off spot on the old lathe bench. Smaller saws will hang from pegs on the sides of the saw til. Just plain pine, no finish, yet. Nice way to store all the saws until needed, and keep me from banging my head on them.

I like it. They clearly needed a good home.
All things are relative, but relative to my shop - that's a lot of saws!

This would of been the way to go when I inherited all my dads saws. Like nice straight soldiers.

Slots for 16 saws in the til. Shorter saws will have a peg to reside on on the outside of the til.

Thanks for looking in. Hope it gives people some ideas to store their own saws.

This is something I need to do. It seems old saw just have a way of showing up at my door. I have yet to even research what I've got, but it would be nice to have them all in one place.

Nice job!
