Wow a great batch of clocks Greg, so many different types of woods. I hope you make your quota and they all sell well for you. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the show.

Wow Greg! Very simple, yet very elegant. These woods and wood combos make a super nice clock. Good luck at the show

Good lookin' clocks, Greg.
I'm not much for painted wood, but that red one really caught my eye. Bet it's one of the first to sell.
Hope you get the 25 made and they ALL sell.

Really like the one at the bottom. Zebra wood and Curly Maple? Where do you get your clocks and what size do you like to use? Recently picked up a few from Klockit that seem pretty nice.

Much appreciated comments everyone….It shouldn't be any problem finishing another 10 clocks since I have until July 3rd before we leave for the show. I plan to display them next to the boxes of the same wood and it might entice someone to buy both as a matching set…might offer a discount to buy boxes and clockses.

Gene…I don't care for painted wood either but that one was originally maple and the roundover bit caused a lot of burning on the top curves even though I did it in two passes. It would have taken too much time to sand out the burn marks for a low priced item so I just decided to paint it.

Jim…You are correct, it is Zebra and Curly Maple. the clock inserts come from klockit.com. I don't see a whole lot of variety in clock insert designs from what I was able to find through a brief google search. If these sell as I hope they will I plan to doing more searching for some inserts a bit more unique and different. I know there are other ways to accomplish a different look but for now I like the simplicity and ease of drilling a hole and popping the insert in.

Wow Greg, these clocks are awesome! Such a wide variety from a single template… it's just amazing. I bet you sell every single one. They look like great gift items too!

Tedster…thanks…! These are not from a single template. I made several that have slight differences. Similar designs but different heights and different base widths. I made a couple of other different looking templates this morning that I have not used yet.

Great job on all, however, the bright red just sits out from the rest

You are a clock building machine! I like the simple clock mechanism as it showcases the wood, not the clock.

And oddly enough, I really like the red one as well.

I hope you find some different inserts that work for you. That brass ring around the insert… Makes me think 80's floral wallpaper. No offense. The woodwork and finish are excellent.
