Very nice work.
I like the whole thing but the game pieces intrigue me. How did you sand and finish them?

Jeepturner: I thickness sanded my stock up to 220 grit before I started cutting them. I cut them using a washer and a pattern cutting bit with a hold down fixture on my router table. Then I had to do only minimal sanding with my random orbit sander by sticking them down in 2 rows to a strip of double face tape. I finished them with 5-6 coats of tung oil followed by a light buffing on a buffing wheel.

I have no idea how to play backgammon, but I can still appreciate the work that went into this project. The design and wood choice is awesome. Great job!
