Project Information
I got this barrel full of hardwood flooring samples for a dollar and run some pieces through my planer and realized that the finish woes dulling the planer blades very quickly.
Now what to do with all that good hardwood, and here is the first project and I got my dollar back and a very useful clamp which I never seem to have too many of.
The clamp head is a "QUICK ADJUST C CLAMP " cut off and bolted to the wood bar and the rest is standard hard ware off the shelf for a total cost of $ 3.20.
I made two of these from 2 strips of hardwood planed on the back side only and laminated them ,
then cut them in half and drilled 1/4" holes on the bottom side by clamping the pieces back to back and drilling on the seam line .
Easy project and very useful .
THANKS
