Project Information

For my youngest son - Oak Plywood pocket hole assembly. Simple pine drawers with 100lb ball bearing slides. Plywood drawer fronts with edge banding. Solid Oak trim around front face. Edge banding everywhere else. Not the most beautiful piece, but he darn sure wont be able to tear it up like the cheap discount dresser that just fell apart.

MDF furniture should be banned.

100% agree with the MDF comment.
Love the pocket hole joints. Do you use the Kreg system? I love the system so much I made a designated place in the shop for it. Here is a pic

Excuse me but I have a dirty mind. Those drawer pulls look just like nipples on 3 girls. He will love that. Great piece.

Looks great and well crafted. Like the wood combo and edge banding. Your son will enjoy it for a long time. Great job!
