Project Information

Had a bit of time this week waiting on materials, so I built a tool barn.

This hanging tool cabinet is made of cherry plywood and quilted maple. 99% of the material is left over from other projects. It is constructed using modern cabinetmaking methods, which include dominoes and pocket holes. The pull-out storage utilizes a set of metal drawer glides.

Finish is nothing more than Howard's feed and wax.

Total build time is under 10 hrs.

Thanks for looking. Plans can be made available

Very nice, but that nail in the side for the saw to hang on made me cringe just a little!

Stumbled across this, Rhett. Fantastic cabinet. Such lovely maple. Your description makes it sound easy, but this is quite innovative, and functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. Truly a winning design..
