That's a cute little opener and the pink ivory really gives it a unique look. Nice!

Thanks for posting this Bill! Where can I get some of this pink ivory? Is it hard to work with?

Great stuff but expensive. I got it at Woodcraft some time ago and it's been waiting for a good project. Hard, turns easy and sand up to 800-1200 almost glossy.

My wife decided it should be HER bottle opener. First my beer, then the opener <sigh>......

She said thanks for making it for her.

Great opener, Excuse my ignorance but what is pink ivory? A wood species? I never seen or heard of it.
As you said, short and meaty for a quick open to quench a beer thirst, awesome.

Earl , your wife is getting spoilt now.

Cheers

Nice looking wood. That mini size is a good idea.
