Location: Boise, ID

Originally from a factory neighborhood in South Buffalo, now happy to be living in beautiful Boise. Recently bought a 1/2 acre lot in town and with my wife's blessing, built a shop as big as our home. (Mary likes knowing I'm nearby and enjoys the fact that I no longer track sawdust in from the garage).

Been doing home related repairs and remodelling as a hobby for 30 years and now I'm looking forward to building my woodworking skills.

The shop is now functional, but lots of work still needs to be done. Walls are now insulated, and I'm hoping to hang plywood sometime this spring. Need to start looking for a good planer and jointer.

Howdy Neighbor! Glad to have you on board. I get to Boise a lot and just finished a project on State Street. Maybe we can meet up some time. We are also (I think) planning a picnic for summer. Welcome to Lumber Jocks.

I’m new here also but another neighbor. Looks like you’ve got a great shop under construction. Enjoy it.
