Just some photos from the “Visions in Wood” show put on by the Vancouver Island Woodworkers Guild. (Last day tomorrow) I took the pics with my iPad. The quality isn’t that good…... :-( sorry.

Thanks for looking

You are among some pretty talented folks Paul. I assume you had some entries? Those two boxes look familiar.

Looks like a lot of talent on the Island! Any of others post projects on LJ? Looks like some potential Top 3s in there ;-)

A very well done and presented show with a good variety of entries .
I see one very nice box in the fifth pictures and a front view would do it more justice . LOL
You have a great many talented wood workers on the island judging by the pictured entries .
I am amazed with the amount of furniture which is something that I miss with our guild .
Good luck with your entry winning a prize .

I thought I saw your jewelry box in there…

If they were able to open the doors, etc. and really look at it, YOU ARE THE WINNER!
... no Doubt about it!

Thank you for the coverage of the event…

No sweat…

The members of that woodworking guild can make high quality stuff. Pity that the excavator is painted. Thanks for sharing,

Your jewelry bow sure deserves to be put on display. I bet it dragged a lot of attention! The other guys did well too (I second Dutchy’s comment about the paint on the excavator)
