Track saw jumped ??? - 7 replies

Has anyone had there track saw jump off the track during a plunge cut? I’m using mine currently to make stair stringers and have had it happen twice now first time no damage to anything or anyone. The 2nd time I messed up festool 32” track pretty good. SecondlyHow does any one cut the rubber strip all the way without the saw messing it up.

Tenoning Jig - 7 replies

Wondering if anyone has built the tenoning jig from the woodworkers journal. I built mine but I feel the unit is lacking in the adjustments and is way too close to the blade for the amount of adjustments it has. I was using a 1-3/8 wide board and and retract it in enough to clear this amount or even just enough to shave a sliver off of it.

Dust deputy and shop vac??? Help??? - 14 replies

I purchased a diy dust deputy to use for sanding and saw work with the circular saw but I can’t get any hoses to fit correctly. I using ridgid shop vac and would like to use the rockler Dust right hose for sanders and such but can’t find anything to fit correctly.

Modify router insert rings for dust collection? - 5 replies

I am wondering if anyone has modified there plastic router plate inserts similiar to the Incra clean sweep metal plates are like for better dust collection. I recently built NYW router table and most dust gets pulled in when doing edge routing but when cutting dado’s or the like it just pushes all the dust off the edge of the table.

Used Earlex 5500 - 3 replies
